Waste-Derived Cellulosic Fibers and Their Applications
نویسندگان
چکیده
The use of bio-based materials has become a focus research nowadays. For the development new generations advanced resources, renewable and available resources must be combined with technologies. Researchers have looked into biomass waste cellulosic as sustainable sources for nano-crystalline cellulose extraction. Besides different treatment methods suitable various applications, this review aims to provide integrated details on extraction applications fibers nanocrystals derived from wastes sources. There are numerous including building materials, electronics, furniture, automobiles, medical sports goods, filtrations, water purification, delivery systems drugs which been discussed.

Textile industry has become an essential part of modern society, and waste production is an inevitable outcome of the developmental activities. Present paper outlines a direct approach toward a real problem of managing spinney waste fibers generated during textile industry. Simultaneously, shortage in landfill disposal space is another trouble associated with dumping of these hazardous wastes. ...
متن کاملCellulosic Fibers: Role of Matrix Polysaccharides in Structure and Function
Cellulose, being the major cell wall component and the most abundant organic matter, produced by living organisms, is not uniformly distributed within plant tissues. There are numerous cells, like the parenchyma ones, which even at maturity have thin cell wall. Thick cell walls are characteristic for the tissues with mechanical function. Among those, there are cell walls, which contain several ...
